Pooping / passing gass while pushing

Hi all, my baby is due early June with a possible early induction. I want to have a vaginal birth but I'm more worried about the pooping and farting and the smells while pushing than the pain! Is there anything I can do to reduce this? Anything I should eat or avoid eating before and when?

Weight gain

I was told that with breastfeeding I might lose some baby weight, but instead of losing it, I keep gaining weight. I try to eat healthy and enough, bit I don't seem to be losing any weight at all. Did anyone else gain weight while breastfeeding?

Postpartum ...

I don't think I'm coping or dealing well with postpartum... I cry everyday and I'm now even questioning my relationship with my partner. He is very supportive and I'm super grateful for him but seems like lately everything he does or says annoys me. There is also some sort of resentment I feel for him due to some st...

Baby in own room

My LO is 4 weeks tomorrow and I’m thinking of putting him in his nursery - we live in a flat so the room is literally across the hall and I am thinking of putting him in his own room in his Moses basket but then in the cot so it’s still familiar for him, he also sleeps in a sleep bag so no concerns over the blanket...

Doona and another pram.

I just want to run past this idea before we go ahead and place and order. So we are thinking of getting me the doona for a car seat and for me to also use while on maternity leave and for ease when I’m just cutting about town on my own. I’ll wear a back pack for storage. This also keeps my boot empty on my little ...

Floor Bed 👏

Hi mamas, so a few weeks ago there was a post about floor beds & whether they work. Here to tell you that they do!! My little boy HATED the cot & his sleep went to sh*t at 16 weeks old.. I’m talking he would wake up every 30/40 minutes on the worst nights 😴 We basically co-slept for 6 months! We made the floor bed…

I don’t know if my baby likes me

Hi, my baby is nearly 9 weeks old now and I do about 99% of things for her but I just don’t know if she likes me or knows I’m her mummy. Every time I get smiles or cuddles someone always comes in and takes over. They either come and ask me to move so they can get smiles or they just want the lovely sleepy cuddles. I...

Crying/Tugging At Nipple Half Way Into A Feed....

My LO is 5weeks and is breastfed and has expressed bottles. Until 3 days ago, breastfeeding was going well. Now after around 5 or 6 minutes of good latching, LO starts to pull at my nipple and tug it from side to side then let's go, cries at my boob, latches again for seconds and then tugs/cries at it again. He does...

Day time sleep

Is anyone else’s 7 week old just won’t sleep in the day? I’m on the verge of a breakdown because I’ve tried everything for him to sleep. He gets so overtired but with a 20 month old toddler to also look after it’s a constant juggling act. Seriously struggling at the moment 😭
