If you are terrified of needles then ask somebody else to take them - you need to be confident and it will only unsettle them if you are dithering. It’s over very quickly and they soon get over it :) Cuddles and food after :) Calpol before so it kicks in asap and shorts so legs are out.
Mine had his last week, he cried but soon stopped after, he didn’t really had a fever but was abit sore. He had calpol the first day. Did get abit of a fever a week later as apparently it takes the measles vaccine awhile to do anything xx
My son had his yesterday. Just ask the nurse to do them quickly. One has to go into a thigh on its own and the other 3 in the other leg. Someone told me not to allow them to do it in the arm as it spreads the pain, but it's up to you. It wasn't fun (we both cried) but take your little one in shorts or a skirt so you don't have to get them changed. Once it's done and you leave they will be fine and calm down. You'll be fine too! X
