I'm high risk this pregnancy, mostly cause I just turned 40. Likely going to have gestational diabetes once I take my glucose test so I keep putting that off. My first the kidneys were also not developing and he was breech etc etc. It definitely felt like every time I went in sitting the third trimester that something else was wrong. Sending all the hope and goodwill for your little one.
Hey hun, I’m 23yrs on my first baby and I’m also high risk. I completely understand. I had a whole mental breakdown because they are worried about his growth and my health and the doctors are recommending me to a more experienced hospital to help with my situation especially since they are starting not to cover my insurance
Listen lovebug… I get it. Since I was 20weeks I’ve been high risk. I was also told that my baby was too small and that she doesn’t have any fluid around her to help her lungs develop correctly. To make matters worse I was told three different things but the same insensitive doctor. 1. You should terminate your pregnancy because it’s a low chance of survival (20weeks) 2. It’s a high chance your baby won’t see viability (currently 25 wks will be 26 tomorrow) 3. You’re baby won’t live pass the age of one. I know it’s scary. It’s hella scary for me since it’s my first. We have to find the good through the bad. They don’t know why my baby lost fluid. My water didn’t break , my placenta is working fine, her kidneys are good..now they are saying genetics. Everything is an estimate or an educated guess. I’m here if you wanna talk , I’m praying and sending you all the good energy for you and your baby.
I'm a high risk but it's my 5th baby, mainly due to my age and my past but thank goodness my baby seems healthy. Bestvof luck to you and your baby!
