@Kira ah ok thank you, that’s helpful. I wasn’t really worried about the air affecting me, it was more if the air was taking up space in the needle then i wouldn’t be getting the full dose of insulin I think she explained. I’ll see how the readings are by Monday when I’m back at the diabetes clinic then, thank you!
I ended up changing my dosage several times until the fasting numbers came down.
There's never an immediate improvement as it's trial and error trying to find the right dose. As long as you see insulin coming out, the air is out and honestly, even if it wasn't, the air that would enter your body is so miniscule it wouldn't affect you.
