Arrhythmia is normal, and resting heart rate (RHR) for a pregnant woman is an average of 90bpm. As long as they checked your blood pressure, and temperature and it looks normal, there probably is nothing emergent. Your uterus is large enough to cause restriction to your lungs, and your heart is pumping more blood to increase oxygen supply. All of this contributes to feeling shortness of breath. It sucks, but very necessary for baby.
Yikes that sounds really scary 😳 some ERs will see pregnant patients, I had to go around 22 weeks for severe pain near my kidney. Of course I told them I’m pregnant but they still took care of me in the normal ER, never sent me up to the labor & delivery ward
I believe shortness of breath can be related to preeclampsia, but if they said nothing about your blood pressure and everything else looks good then it could be possible that your uterus is pushing the rest of your organs into your lungs causing the shortness of breath which unfortunately is normal in pregnancy
I feel the same way I thought it was just me
