@Aphrodite I was on lexapro. I’m not sure what they will put me back on that would be a “safer” option
I'm on high dose ssri and it really is important for me to stay on. I got off of benzos because they do have risks of birth defects. It's it possible you cold experiment with pregnancy safe meds? I got pregnant with my first in 3 tries. And I got pregnant with my 2nd in 11 tries (ectopic). Then got pregnant again in 3 tries. We didn't think my 11 months of ttc was because of meds though. I was living in a very hostile living situation. A neighbor would try to hit me with her car, state and scream at my 3 year old, bully my husband, harass us, intimidate us, etc. I had to call the cops on her very regularly. Then she moved and I've been much better
@Julia sorry to hear about the abuse from the neighbor 😢 but happy to hear you were still able to get pregnant. That’s encouraging. I’m really ready for baby #2 but coming off of my meds hasn’t been good for me so I’m going to go back on to something that considered more safe. I have rheumatoid arthritis so I also have to remain on medication for that if I get pregnant so I’m a little nervous about being on 2 meds. I guess I’ll have to do a little pre planning with the ob.
Yes I have. No issues. I did end up stopping them as soon as I tested positive but my doctors had no problems with me continuing them throughout the pregnancy if I felt like I needed it.
