Accidentally knocked belly
Hello!! I’m looking for some advice… So I’m 36 weeks and 1 day pregnant. My partner and I were just in Waitrose and he was holding a basket full of shopping. He picked something up and not realising how close I was stood by him, swung the basket straight into my belly. It did hurt when it got knocked but it seems to feel okay now. I’m just a bit worried as baby is quite big now and the initial knock did hurt. Should I be worried or is baby okay?! Her movements seem to be okay.

I've been told baby is very well protected in their amniotic fluid. However, if you are worried then you could always give them a call to double check 😊💕
Sure it hurt you much more than baby but if you feel any change in pattern call triage :)
I hit mine with the car door and movements have been normal. If you’re concerned ring but a little bump will be okay x
If you have rhesus negative blood and have had an anti d injection already, you’ll need another.
My toddler does this several times a day and the baby has been fine.

She should be okay but if you are worried u can always go to triage x
