@Kait for sure!! The only thing I can think of is that I was like maybe on the border of failing?? Idk but I do not like that I have to do it again 😭
They had me go back a few weeks after I passed because my baby was big and I ended up having gd that was diet controlled
@Jessica My baby was 1 lb 1 oz 3 weeks ago and they said that he was 38% and wanted him in the 50% percentile so I'm definitely curious as to why they want this 😬
I had to repeat mine, but the first was in my first trimester at like 11 weeks. I was border line having it with my first, he was a big baby, I’m older, and have family history, so they tested me early. Passed the first test, failed the second (at 24 weeks).
@Usinger oh man I just had my first test at 24 weeks and failed, did the 3 hour at 25 weeks and now I'm 26 weeks and they want me to do a second 3 hour at 28 weeks 😩 there's not a family history on my end but there is a history of type 2 diabetes on my mom's side. My little guy is on the smaller end so there's honestly no telling what they are wanting me to do it again for 😬 my friend did have it but her baby was born prematurely at 5lbs!! So I'm definitely more curious than anything over it!
Never heard of that happening. I had GD last pregnancy and you either fail or you don’t fail from my understanding. I’d question it and ask why!
