Any kiddos taking lessons yet?

Can’t believe my little guy is almost 2! He has now officially started swimming lessons last week and has his first soccer class tomorrow! Any other mamas with active kiddos? Share some ideas ✨

Swimming yes! We did a trial soccer class at 19 months but he’s not quite ready lol. He just wanted to do his own thing, trying again after he turns 2 in December so maybe January. He LOVES swimming. We also do a music class and tumbling (these are just for fun, mom and me classes)

My toddler started mom and me swimming lessons at 6mo. And this summer completed independent lessons. He will be two next month. Loves swimming and very confident in the water

Where are you all doing swimming? We tried the classes at the YMCA, but found them to be unorganized and basically just for them to "get used to" the water (with parents holding them). I've seen 2yr olds swimming on their own (with life jackets), but is that really a thing? I have no idea how or when or where to start with mine.

Definitely would like some ideas for class to get my girl started in some activities!she’ll be 2 at the end of October.

I feel like my son still wants to do what he wants to do... Anyone else? When should we expect them to like listen to the teacher or coach and engage?

We have done swim, dance and gymnastics. My daughter loves dance class and listens very well and has so much fun. Gymnastics was hard, but has helped her realize she needs to take turns and wait. Swimming was great to get her comfortable in the water.
