Just wondering if your kiddos play independently and if so, for low long and what activities?

My daughter could easily sit on her own and play for a good hour by herself. She’s always been amazing at independent play but after the hour she will grab my hand n ask me to play with her x
Our little dude can play for 15/20 minutes with cars or reading to himself! He then might switch activities or look for me to get down with him but usually he wants to do it himself and have me sit and watch him play! It’s terribly cute!
My daughter doesn't really do independent play. It's very very rare that she will play for a few minutes without needing me.

Hi, my LG does but not for very long, she would much rather I play with her to the point she grabs my hand and either says ‘take’ to take me or ‘play’ or ‘sit’ cause she wants me sitting at her table 😂 from memories of my eldest who is now 10 there was not much independent play but my LG has hit a wild imagination so I think she may become more independent as she gets older. My Lg will play in her kitchen for 5-10 mins, will look at a book for 5ish mins the best way I’ve found to entertain her beyond watching tv is just a box of toys. She throws them makes a mess brings me one then gets distracted by another for a few mins, works best if it’s a box of toys they she hasn’t seen in a little while.
