How is everyone playing with their toddler?

I really struggle with ‘playing’ At this age. I find it really frustrating and prefer to just go out to the zoo or whatever than stay at home. I see all the sensory bins etc and I’m excited to do that, but my LO puts everything in her mouth and I get so overwhelmed working out what’s safe and what’s age appropriate etc. What are we doing to entertain our little ones at home??

Sensory stuff only really works for about 20mins with us 😅. We go to soft play, play groups and we play chase, hide and seek (sort of lol) and tickle fights

My LB just eats everything. I spent ages getting everything for this and then making it and I know it says taste safe, but I'm pretty sure you're not meant to try and eat mouthfuls of it lol x x https://www.facebook.com/share/r/16tJGXZy7R/

Hide and seek is a good one, don't know why I haven't tried that yet x x

My wee boy also love hide and seek, musical statues and making dens just now. He is also spending loads of time playing with trains/cars and animal figures so when he wants me to sit down with him I just play with him. Need to be in the mood for sensory stuff lol x

Reading, building, cars, just following them seeing the world through their eyes, go to the park! They will explore things, they will learn so much through you xx

My daughter loves colouring and sticker books. We’ve just brought her a chalk board/white board and she loves it!
