Bottle

I am trying to get my baby used formula from breast milk but she never accepts the bottle. If I put water in the bottle,s he drinks it. But even if I put breast milk, she doesn't drink it. I have tried every brand of baby bottle and every brand of formula. My baby is 7 months old now and I have been trying this for two months.

@Zeynep yes, my baby is same. I really don't know what to do. My baby is 6 months, cries and cries not to have the bottle. Its really affecting my mental health because no one can look after my baby.

I've been having the same problems with my baby. He will only drink between 2-3oz so now I have to put the rest of his bottle in a syringe to get the rest down him because all health professionals are telling me that milk should still be their number 1 food, and with my baby being on the lowest centile. Its needed to be done and it's helping him put the weight on.

It’s not as easy as the bottle (because it’s messier!), but when my baby was refusing the bottle we got him to drink some milk from a doidy cup. It was recommended to me by the health visitor (I’d never heard of it before!). He’s recently been ok with the bottle again so maybe that might give you some hope (and over two months of refusal).
