Also EBF via bottle though. Was unlucky, had a dip in milk supply while my daughter was going through a leap and demanding more milk. Due to this we had to consider combination feeding on the spot. She has been taking 30ml formula for 5 days now, alongside breast milk. Luckily my milk supply bounced back and we haven't had to increase the formula portion
I did this from my daughter was born(now 1 month old). Unfortunately she was very difficult to wake for feeds when she was days old and I/she was struggling to latch. So in a panic to get something in her I gave her formula but also persevered with breastfeed. She used to be be 50/50 but now I’d say she’s 90% breastfed now, so atleast 1 bottle of formula a day as this allows me to express in the meantime so my partner can help with feeds. It is very intense!
@Emma I started combination feeding properly 2 weeks ago and got to say it’s the best thing I’ve ever done personally, my baby was falling asleep during feeds so it’s so much better for both of us now we are combination feeding

I started when mine was a couple of weeks old after an intense cluster feeding phase, I was exhausted and at my wits end and felt like I wasn't making enough. I don't give him it frequently, possibly every few days currently as I pump breast milk for one bottle a night so my partner can feed while I sleep, but he sometimes needs more. But EBF is really intense, start with one a day in my opinion and see how they take it. You are doing great! đź’™
