Thank you that's helpful ☺️
Our nursery cost us £80 with tax free childcare and the free hours. He goes 2 days a week and the hours have been stretched to all year donated of term time.
My daughter does 2 days and after the 15 hours knocked off and the tax free childcare used it’s roughly £270 a month
My LG goes 5 days a week and after the 15hrs (we spread them so 11.4 per week) and tax free childcare we pay about £520 every 4 weeks.
It depends where you live as I live out of the city and was paying £58 a day at her previous creche but I know my colleague lives in the city and was paying £65 a day for his little boy so it differs quite a lot. Also I’m in wales so when my daughter turned 2 (yesterday) we are entitled to flying start if we live within a certain radius of a flying start setting. It’s 15 hours free a week so she will be using that but I will also be topping the hours up so she will be going 4 days a week
I know it’s not quite what you asked, but we use a childminder and she charges £5.50 per hour, but is an alternate to nursery. We’ve found using a childminder much more flexible with hours etc, and she tends to take her holidays during school holidays so we don’t then have to pay that much where the free 15 hours don’t cover 😊
LO does 2 days a week and last month it was £252... You also get gov 20% tax free after that amount too. Depends on the area with the cost of nurseries. Before the 15hrs it was £580ish
My little girl goes 2.5 days a week, before funding it was between £900-£1100 a month depending how many days fall in the month (we pay for extra early starts) after funding it is between £660-£780 a month. It makes a difference but not as much as I hoped
My girl does 2 days, it’s now £27 a day with £5 additional cost for food. Comes out around £250 - £300 a month depending on how many weeks in that month. But get 20% off that with tax free childcare too x
My LG will be doing 2.5 days, which is the full 15 hours and we don't pay anything on top. We do have to supply lunch, nappies, wipes etc.. though. Forgot to add, it is term time only and attached to a school so 9am until 3pm x
Our LG is going 3 days a week all year round. They stretch it over and it come up as 11.5 hrs /week. We also use the tax free childcare care and bill is coming up in between £300 and £350/month. Your bill will depend on your nursery rates - ours is not cheap but its close to home and that's what we wanted.
My LO goes 2 days a week, all year and they stretch the term time only free hours across the year so we get something like 49.something hours free a month. Last bill came to 250. A lot depends on the cost of the nursery to start with and then how they use the free hours at that specific nursery and if they have any restrictions
