Mine is coming up to 4 weeks and has 70-100 ml every 3-4 hrs in the day and at night she wakes up once for feeds. Altogether she has 6-7 feeds a day
My boy is a week old he would scream and scream as he was hungry and I had soo many midwife’s tell me different things! I use kendamil. He is fed every 2-3 hours it normally works out 3 hours in the day and 2 hours in the night and he is on about 75mls but he would definitely go for 90ml if I let him 🤦🏻♀️😂
I called my hospital triage number that was on my hospital folder and they can work out for you roughly how much you should be giving them to how much the weigh ☺️
i don’t really believe you can overfeed a baby, if they’re hungry, they’re hungry. unless drinking a certain amount causes them discomfort i don’t see what the issue is, i think there’s an unnecessary amount of stress put onto parents to parent by numbers, timings, routines etc parenting doesn’t have to be textbook. i’d feed baby however much they’re actually wanting and see how it goes. my baby is a 11 days old and drinks 2/3oz every 2.5 hours, at night he goes 3 hours, sometimes he only drinks 1oz, he stops sucking the bottle himself when he’s satisfied. also using kendamil x
Completely agree with Anisha! Just feed on demand whatever baby wants.. pace feeding is very helpful :)
My daughter is 5 days old and currently on 3oz bottles. She will have a bottle every 3-4hrs x
My baby was the same! In hospital he would only take 15-25ml as he was very mucusy. Once that mucus clears apparently they feed better. Now he drinks 40-50 ml and a feed every 2.5 hrs is normal xx
13 day old girl and she drinks 60 - 80mls every 3 hours
3 weeks old and has 90ml on average every 3 hours but sometimes will want an extra feed and sometimes will go 4 hours.
how old is he? my boy is 12 days old and is on 3oz every feed every 3 hours
