I dropped the am bottle on Monday I just gave her some toast to get her through to dinner time
Should be having at least one bottle milk. Day until their at least 5 tho they say it should be cows milk full fat. Tho mine oldest boy ad milk so was on formula until her was 2
My boy only had 4 bottles a day once we really got into weaning he only had an ounce at breakfast, lunch and dinner so I dropped those and then a couple of months back he dropped his nighttime bottle himself
So as long as they are getting their calcium from other sources they no longer need a bottle of milk however if it works for you I wouldn’t stress too much. It’s dentist that push dropping the bottle due to the affect the bottle has on their teeth- if you can get them to take it in a cup then that’s great but I wouldn’t stress too much. My daughter has one bottle a day pre bed, tried it in a sippy cup she wasn’t interested but she equally doesn’t suck her thumb or have a dummy so I cannot see how one bottle a day would impact her teeth that much at this stage x
My lb has about 4 bottles of 6oz milk. I offer 6oz but he doesn't drink it all. Sometimes cows and sometimes stage 3 milk. He eat 3 meals a day (doesn't necessarily finish it all either) and snacks and yoghurts in between. The bottles are in the morning as soon as he wakes up, one before his nap, one before bed and he still wakes at night once as well sp he will drink about 4oz then go back to sleep again. It works for us....honestly do whatever you want...each to their own.
I continue with a morning nap bottle and a bedtime bottle. 6oz in each, doesnt always drink the full amount. Using stage 3 milk as found that cows milk caused constipation. Think he uses his bottles for comfort before naps if I'm honest, he's definitely not hungry as eats well. X
Personally I find they’ll just start drinking less and less until they drop it themselves, so I just go with that x
