Has the teat got trapped air in it? Try pressing all the air out, I did this and it stopped x
@Charley it takes too long sadly and he only eats what he wants anyway he usually wastes a good bit 🥲
@Alanna will give that a go next time, we usually suck it though and doesn’t fix it, we have to pour it a few times which is a waste aha x
@Emily ours did this when he was tiny and he’d end up with milk all over his face 😆 yeah try it make sure all the air is out there shouldn’t be any pressure for it to spray then x
I’ve recently just changed from teat 1 to teat 2 as my baby started to take ages to drink her milk. It’s not good for them to be kept on a teat that too slow for them and to make them ‘work’ for it. They need to be able to drink what they need to and not fall asleep half way through it because it’s too slow x
@Sarah yeah that’s why we’re on 2 it just goes so fast though like a water pistol idk what I’m doing wrong
@Emily you’re not doing anything wrong. A midwife told me at my post natal checkup that they only use size 2 teats at my local hospital. X
Honestly just stick to slow flow teats. Its much better for them as it means they have to work more for the milk and can't guzzle it down super fast! Makes them realize they're full and not over stretch their stomach
