When I was on mat leave for nearly a year I took my daughter to soft play (some were free for under 1s) we went to a baby massage classes, visited the zoo, farm, aquarium, had walks around the parks, met up with mums from here and from my own friend group. Practiced baking (blueberry muffins) You just have to find things that work for you and baby xx
Honestly I felt like this on my maternity leave. I was so use to being on the go then it all suddenly slowing down did feel a bit boring. It now my son is 3 that I wish my mat leave was now. He's much more exciting to be around than when he was a newborn. Once I was in a routine even with going to classes it was just slower for me. So no your not the only one. And there is also nothing wrong with it. I love my son unconditionally. But newborns are boring! Your little one will be all go before you no it. Mix in with work. It will all change soon sadly xx
