@Shahd We did the bloodwork and sperm count and ovarian reserve, I'm going Thursday for the hystersonography. But like after that is there more to pay for actual IVF if needed?
It depends on what your results are and if you need IVF, IUI ect. I’m not sure if the same as ontario but here for IUI you pay for your medications needed per cycle (usually mostly covered under insurance if you have) and IVF here first round is “free” but that is only for diagnostic testing like ultrasounds , you still pay for your medications for IVF for the first “free” round.
@Priscilla Government covers the first IVF clinic cost but you cover the medications. I hope you’ll have a quick and simple process and a successful pregnancy soon ✨✨✨
What stage of the treatment are you in? The first few doctors appointment are free but when you get to IVF that’s where the costs kick in. You also have to pay for all tests (bloodwork for mom and dad, sperm count, ovarian reserve test, hystersonography (to check fallopian tubes are open and uterus is in good condition). We didn’t pay for doctor but we paid for all tests
