@Mari thank you very much! ❤️❤️
She sleeps through the night btw thank God ! & I totally feel like the baths every night help with that … I don’t use her baby bathtub anymore just a regular shower & always go with your baby’s sleep cues ( rubbing eyes , cranky or fussy , yawning etc )
@Hasna Begum of course happy to help mama you are doing an amazing job ❤️
We don’t bath every day (eczema) but just wanted to say a baby (or anyone) cannot get ill from having damp hair, colds are caused by germs, hope that puts your mind at rest a bit x
@Mari it’s what I’m struggling with right now usually when she takes a bath it makes her more awake and alert but I’m hoping if I do it regularly she’ll get use to it and realise that it means it’s almost bedtime 😂
@Fay thank you for the reassurance I just get told from family that getting baby wet causes colds which has always put that fear in me. But what you have said actually makes sense x
I give my 13 month old a bath every evening. Most nights I just wash her face, hands, and butt with soap and water. Maybe once a week I’ll give her a really good wash down and wash her hair and scrub her whole body. I don’t have her in the tub longer than 10/15 minutes each night. My daughter also has really long thick hair and I usually just wet a comb and comb her hair up in a pony tail to keep it out of her face while she sleeps, and she’s never caught a cold from having wet hair at night. My daughter is sleep trained so she sleeps 11-12 hours a night. I give her a bath, get her jammies on, read her some books, and then lay her down and she’ll sleep the whole night.
Hey ! I have a 17 month old & we do baths every night before sleeping I feed her nice and well & bathe her I do not always wet her hair ( you can get her a shower cap they have toddler ones ) & I like to put a onesie shirt under her pjs to ensure she is nice and warm especially after bath
