@Fay my boyās are 1:45. I really donāt agree with the 4 in one go situation. I know they wonāt remember it but I will!
@Kelsie I would say though that one and done sounds like a better idea than two separate trips- even for them. They wonāt remember a thing after a week possibly due to the soreness but these are the heaviest ones so I would get them done all at once because watching it twice, no chance Iāll return to the gp for a year x
I done it all in 1 go. I couldnāt bring her in a second time and go through it all again. I thought she might as well get it over and done with in one go. The worst was the MMR, it left a bruise and a lump for weeks. After the first 2 she did not cry that much but it just broke my heart seeing her like that. X
I am undecided as to what Iām going to do tbh, I just think itās so unfair putting them through 4..I wouldnāt sit there for 4 injections no way
@Bercem did she have a temperature? And what kind of a lump are we talking about please š
It was like a little bigger than a pea size lump where the injection was. She did have a temperature for about two days, gave calpol and she was fine the third day. Nurse said even if she doesnāt get a temperature straight away they can still get a temperature about two weeks after the vaccine. Luckily she didnāt x
@Bercem thank you so much for letting me know the nurse told us normally they donāt get a temperature etc but I think they should be honest because typically they have a fever Iām so scared of the fever business I canāt keep myself together x
@Fay your welcome, they should of given you a leaflet with all the information about the vaccines that they have administered and the side effects and what to look out for and what to do if there is any concern. I was given after each vaccination. Hope your LO is ok x
I am doing this. I am having them all except the mmr which will be delayed until January. My boy has already caught measles when he was 6 months old, so Iām not too stressed about delaying it xx
@Bercem they see us as a number not as a human so no leaflet was given but I can see my son feels sore and uncomfortable when Iām changing his nappy and I touch his thigh. When did you LO have fever and how many days did it last? Was it high temperature sorry for bothering x
@Fay no its ok honestly. she had her jabs late morning and had fever towards the evening. It was fluctuating but didnāt go over 38.1 degrees. I gave calpol 2 times a day for 2 days. Third day she was fine but her thigh was still sore every time i touched it she would cry a bit so i tried extra careful not to touch it. The nurse shoved the needle in so hard it bled a bit at the GP. Maybe thats why it had a bruise for about two weeks.x
@Bercem thank you my sons a bit sensitive around the thigh area At the moment. Heās been uncomfortable with his position and itās not the the way he sleeps so a bit cranky but finally asleep now. Iām the night nurse for the next couple of hours to keep an eye out. Thanks so much, youāve helped more than the nurse did x
@Bercem Iāve stripped him into a thin vest no trousers for the night because he keeps getting warm and I would wanna strip off too if my body temperature were fluctuating mad
@Fay your welcome, hopefully he feels better soon āŗļø x

We went to Spain a week after his vaccines and he's been so ill we had to take him to hospital. A fever of 40 for 5 days until we got antibiotics. Be prepared!
@AimƩe oh my god I wish I hadnt read this but this also depends on the baby and I think they asked me not to travel with the baby after the vaccine had been administered for 2 weeks
I told them I'm going to Spain can I postpone, they said to just take calpol! I wish I did. It was a reaction after 5 days which was strange.
