Could lower milk supply if that's an issue. Once I learnt that I thought no further

Always was fine with the depo but this time I got WILD HOT flashes. I’m not on anything now.

I’m on a progestogen only pill. My milk supply hasn’t lowered. This is also what I was on before we decided to try to get pregnant. I had two nexplanons before that and had to start taking this pill with the second implant because I was spotting

Yes definitely as slip ups can happen and if you don't want to fall pregnant again too soon.

I had the implant (nexplanon) for 8 month. I ended up taking it out due to hating it. I was constantly spotting and bleeding, headaches were horrible, mood swings, weight gain and stomach cramps. Everyone that has it is different though. If your not wanting to fall pregnant than maybe birth control is your best bet. Have a talk with your doctor with what’s best and go through your options. Research your options

For me, I’ve tried different birth control pills, I’ve had horrible experiences especially with depression. To each their own but I wouldn’t go back to taking the pill as I’m much happier without it.

Sticking to Condoms as hormonal ones can really affect moods and especially so early postpartum risk of depression is high.

My husband and I opted for condoms, because I didn’t want birth control to impact my milk production *and* I have a personal rule that I want to be off hormonal birth control for at least 1 year before having a child (I did so for my first and will do so in the future should we decide to have another). Do what’s best for you though! There are options:)

Before getting married, I was on falmina, a birth control pill for a a few months. That was my first time on birth control and I opted to not get on it again because of how I felt getting off it (felt like I was going crazy). We practice the pull out method and it’s been working for 2.5 years lol. When we are officially done having kids, my husband stated he’ll go for the snip.

I mean, unless you want another pregnancy or are going to avoid sex completely then why would you not?

Once our baby is born I’m going back to a hormonal IUD (had great success in the past) and my husband is getting a vasectomy. We’re debating if we should use a condom as well for a bit till I’m less fertile after birth

I got an iud around 10 weeks. It's been great for me so far. I do have spotting, but I also had that the first time I had one so it's nothing new. I'm not ready for a second child yet. One day absolutely, but I want to just enjoy my son for now.
