@Jasmine I’m already wfh on phones and I do hate it lol but same it’s paying my bills currently I work at the irs, what school are you going to for medical billing and coding ? And would it be something in office after school or something also on phones but with better pay?
I would honestly say get a certification or degree in healthcare or IT. I currently work as a CNA and the pay is ok depending on where you work. I'm currently in school to become a LPN which is only a year of schooling. They get paid well. However, with any job it all depends on where you live and how you budget your money. I feel just like you girl but when I look at my paychecks I realize I make enough to cover all my bills and some I'm just bad with budgeting lol
There’s a lot of certificates that are less than 2 years. Most certificate programs are less than 18 months. Are you into healthcare? Trades? I don’t ever recommend healthcare for the money, but if you feel you’ll be an asset then def go for it. medical assistance, LPN, radiologists
@Monét I don’t know what I want to do like at all! I currently hate my job but I’m grateful for it, it just allows me to work from home but my funds are pretty tight so I have to figure something out! and if I’m going to continue hating it I’d rather hate it while being less stressed about life lol I was looking into I.t stuff but I think I’d dislike that more than healthcare but then a pro to that would possibly be the ability to work from home maybe ! So I’m not sure ! Radiology may be cool I’m going to check that out ! Thanks ! What do you do ?
@Amber same girl lol my friend just got a budget book and I think I’m Going to head over to Amazon and add one to my cart lol I must get PRECISE on what I have and stay within my means !
I’m going to a school called Ultimate Medical Academy. And the position is very versatile. You can actually speak with the career team and they’ll help accommodate your needs as you transition. Internship is required for graduation but that’ll be closer to the end of the program. I honestly love this school, they are helpful and understanding.
I was working from home for $15 an hour with this company called Carenet Healthcare. Not gonna lie I didn’t like it because you have to talk in the phone a lot but it got the job done. I just recently started school online for Medical Billing and Coding. The program is 18 months long and it is 100% online. They help you get a job close to the end of the program and the position for that is very lucrative and flexible. Lots of options.
