I'm a black women and I voted trump.... Wym you had to go an extra mile to be excepted? I'd like to understand where you are coming from
As a black woman, this post is very dramatic
I'm not black but I feel like your in your own head and have some lack of confidence. Not trying to be rude and don't intend to come off that way either, but just be yourself!
Unfortunately there are always going to be people who judge you for something you can't control, or based on their beliefs, however wrong they might be. Be yourself, be kind and the kind people will be kind back to you. Nobody else matters and they're not worth your worry.
Some of these comments are ridiculous. Your feelings are valid, and even tho I am a white person I saw the divide in America when he was in office. Im terrified for what he's about to bring... But we will get through this, you are not alone you have people in your corner ❤ it is 'we the people' after all
What has happened to make you feel that way? 🫶🏼
@Aili thank you so much🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
@Rosalie the way some people felt so comfortable being openly racist. Just so many reasons. Could have also been because I was the only black person at my job and just the whole experience was traumatized but I’ll be okay. God is ultimately in control. That’s all that matters to me. Thanks for those who were kind under this post❤️
Wow. As a black women the first few comments felt a simulation. You only said something about how you feel and almost no support was offered from people who look like you. Just invalidation. I also experienced and witnessed what you did OP, I’m a social worker and I also see other sw’s, regardless of race, cowering to protect others for fear of also being attacked. And these are people in a profession where we are trained and emboldened to help But ykw I very rarely publicly comment on political post but I wanna let you know you’re not alone. There are black women on here that feel the same and it was hard for me to comment because I really just don’t wanna invite condescending snd hateful comments into my life. But I also want you to know you’re not alone more. Sis we made it though the first 4 years. We will make it through the next. We need to keep spreading love to counterbalance any hate we may experience. Continue to lean on people for support. If you want you can add me. ❤️🫶🏽
And to all republicans voters thank you for voting as it is your right as an American citizen all I ask is as Americans and people we all also continue to love and respect each other to the best of our ability regardless of race or political affiliation. And just be mindful of the hurt people may be experiencing even if you don’t agree with or understand it. Because it doesn’t make it less real, especially to the people experiencing it. You don’t have to understand the pain. But it’s helpful to just believe that it’s real for the people who are experiencing it. We all just wanna make it home to our families without the added stress of feeling unsafe, even emotionally or online. And regardless of who the president is only we can do that to each other.
@Keanne thank you so so much. You have no idea how much that means to me. Thank you🫶🏽
@Cassie, Well, she asked for encouragement, not for you to comment, saying your experience was different. That’s wonderful for you, but it's not the topic of discussion.
@Cassie I shared it in the comment❤️
I'm not black. I'm a woman and it's very scary. I'm very sorry

@Aurélie thank you. Sorry to you as well. This post has brought me so much comfort. I’m far better today. Thank you
There is a theory called a red mirage. It happened last election, too. And Biden ended up winning Essentially, red voters are concentrated in small rural areas and vote more in person. And, while just a generalization, the smaller areas get their votes counted quicker and the mail in ballots actually get tallied up before mail ins in many states. It is depressing to see all that red, though, and know how many uneducated and bigoted people live here.
