How old for first outing?
How old was everyone’s baby when they took them out for their first social event? We have a 3 month old and Christmas is around the corner.. want him to be social but also don’t want to overwhelm him.
We tried a 30th birthday picnic and everyone just wanted to hold him and see him and he was already fighting his naps so didn’t get any sleep all afternoon 😖

I have a 9 week old and I haven’t had him at a social event yet but I am planning to use a baby sling to wear him when we go out near Christmas. My baby loves being strapped to me and it will hopefully stop people asking to hold him so he can sleep. Always an idea ☺️
We took him to a celebration of life when he was 11 days old. There were like 100 people there, 2 hours from our home town.
