I would just call triage
Please call triage if you are worried, my little boy was quiet all this morning and barely kicked and now he's wiggling away
Call triage. I’m 32 wks, & I noticed a reduction in movement from one of my twins. They put me on a monitor, & she’s ok, just very cosy & comfortable. Midwives advised if in doubt, or any slight change, call, & go in to be checked. They’d rather you come in & get checked than not. Also it’ll give you reassurance & peace of mind.
I’m 31 weeks and I am the same I only really feel movements when I’m on my side or if I put pressure on my belly. I don’t feel many movements off his own accord. My pattern has definitely changed. I rang triage and they set me up on a monitor for reassurance and everything was fine. If you’re worried I would call them you’re not wasting their time that’s what they’re there for 💕
I had the same last night (32+5), called triage and they told me to come in. Was monitored for about 30 mins and we registered movement. I cried when I felt baby move as intense as normal! Triage midwife said that we did the right thing coming in, and to always call or come in when you have any worries or concerns
I went in last night also @Dominique and I finally felt my baby movements. But the waiting time to be seen was something else. Got there half 9pm and left there 3am this morning.
Holy shit, that's long! I was only in for 2 hours in total
‘When in doubt, get checked out!’ Going to triage won’t cause any harm. They always say it’s better to be safe than sorry! Best outcome you go and get the all clear. Worst case, they spot an issue and can help resolve :)
I’ve just seen it took you 6 hours to be seen! That is INSANE! It’s only ever taken like 15 mins max for me. Though I’ve only gone during the day. Maybe nights are more manic? Still though, that’s crazy! I’m glad baby is okay though :)
If you feel like you need to get checked then please do they would rather you go in and see them. However if you have been busy all day then your note likely to feel the baby until you relax and lay down. And depending on the position of the baby will depend on if you feel her. X
