Did you have an epidural?

Following because I also still have lower back pain

I have back pain right in the area that I got my spinal. Poor posture when holding the baby hasn’t helped. 🥴

Ugh me too it’s terrible I also think it’s from the epidural.

@Lauren no, I didn’t

sometimes i swear my epidural needle is still in my back.. the random sharp shooting pain omg is the worst

@Lindsey oh gosh!! Saaaame!!! So strange

Yes. Your center of gravity changed during pregnancy. I still have back pain from my first, and now it’s a bit worse.

@Lauren back pain isn’t caused by an epidural! That’s a super common misconception! It’s actually because your center of gravity changes during pregnancy

Yep. I started physical therapy last week to help. Turns out I both low strength and low mobility in my lower back. The pelvic floor specialist said that's really common after pregnancy. So we're working on both back and pelvic floor.

@Gabrielle It can be both :) Yes it’s maybe a misconception that it’s always directly related to that, and it doesn’t always happen, but it is true that many women do have side effects from it months (sometimes years after) But I do agree that it’s not always the cause, as yes lots of changes happen with your body that can cause it. 😀

Your body changes a lot during pregnancy and it can take a loooong time for your body to go back to "normal" so you're back it still recovering from all the pregnancy changes. physical therapy night help to speed up the process.

@Salem thank you!! I appreciate your comment ❤️

From the epidural or maybe the way you were positioned
