How do you survive indoors with toddlers now that it's too.datk to go to the playground in the evening

I have to boys, 3.5yrs and 2yrs. They are FERAL lol and the only way I managed to survive the evenings was to take them to the playground after dinner. Now it's too dark, and they literally bounce off the walls. It's really hard for me to direct their energy into something productive. We have a room that's basically a crash pad, and we have sensory mats and balance beams, but I can't get them to do anything specific. It's just a free for all of crashing and wrestling, and I'm worried someone's going to get hurt. Anyone have any ideas or actives they use in the winter for their high energy toddlers?

Crafts, sensory play, indoor I spy, balance beam , indoor mini bounce house

We have an indoor bounce house, they hit their heads on each other a lot so that’s one con since they are always wrestling as well lol I have 3.5 and 2.5 and 8mo so almost same boat and I feel the same way, they’re partners in crime and their energy is driving me up the wall. They like coloring tho it keeps them busy for 10 min in one place almost quiet

Or we put on DannyGo on YouTube it’s an interactive sometimes educational game type channel, my kids like to do the quicksand and lava ones and use our floor cushions for a safe spot

I put something easy in the instant pot and we go to the park while dinner cooks.

Enroll them in a sport or swimming lessons or something. That takes up 4 days a week for us

Do you have a garden? X

Chasy in the house. Or like tickle monster.

Crafts. Sensory bins. Stepping stones with beams. Create a rock climbing wall if possible. We have an indoor small climbing structure. We're about to buy a foldable trampoline to add to our bedtime routine. 🤣🤷🏾‍♀️

I have three boys: 5, 3, and 20 months. And I feel you. I try to build things with the cushions/climbing stuff and make a game out of it. I’ve built obstacle courses and done music related stuff. Play hide and seek. Sensory stuff is great, however my kids don’t sit for it for very long. So I get it. They do love stickers though. We make slime. They love to help me cook dinner or bake. At that age it’s so tough. I get it. Good luck mama!

YES I DO! 1. Doorway swing hanging on a tension rod pull up bar 2. Trampoline 3. Treadmill off Facebook market place 4. Any kind of cardio exercise video jumping Jack's push ups etc (Monitor for safety and set a timer to gamify exercise) And thank me later😚
