Pain under ribs?

I’m 30 weeks and I’m worried as I’ve read it’s a sign of pre eclampsia I’ve had this random pain under my ribs come on and boob area that kinda hurts to breathe and it’s quite sharp I’m not sure if it’s baby but baby is breach so I’m not sure? Has anyone else had this.

If you're worried, I would call Triage. They'll likely ask some questions on the phone and ask you to come in if they think it is necessary.

Definitely ring triage and go get checked. I had similar and thought it could be preeclampsia but turned out I have inflamed ribs. Nice to know what it was 🥰

My baby is also breach and my midwife said I'd probably get pain under my rib as the head is boney and uncomfortable unlike the bum which is a bit more squishy. I'd definitely ring triage if you're worried though

Yes!! I’ve had this for three days now. Any movement is so painful! I called triage on Monday as I didn’t get any sleep and went to the day assessment unit to get checked out. They were thorough and did a load of test’s, everything came back normal. Only thing was, they couldn’t tell me exactly what is causing it. Apart from saying that it was probably the position of my baby. I’m now three days having had very little sleep and feeling like I have bruised ribs. Really hoping it eases off soon as it’s debilitating!
