Swimming lessons

Hi all so my almost 2 year old is starting her Duckling Swimming lessons next week , we did some splash babies when she was a lot younger but nothing in a good while. Do I need to buy arm bands?😂 I would assume so?? But I'm not so sure , she also needs glasses would it be worth me getting her some goggles?

No. If a floatation device is needed for a class then they should provide a proper one for you. Goggles also aren't necessary and can cause distraction. Best hold off on a pair until they are swimming lengths

@Ellie I was just thinking she has a very strong prescription and is near useless without her glasses she might struggle 😂

@Jess you can get prescription goggles, but they are very expensive. You should be in the water with her at this age and also let the instructor know and they will accommodate. Just remember that in a lot of water related situations (except leisure) you won't have goggles. Best to be comfortable doing a skill without them rather then relying on them and panicking when you don't have them.
