@Nikki I'm still shocked at it all. How was your first birth in comparison? I know people say second is quicker but this was crazy!! Congratulations to you too!
@Monika I was 40+6. I had a sweep Monday, acupuncture Tuesday, had sex and a walk yesterday, not sure what triggered it, if anything, out of all that 😂 my first came 41+3
@Rupal 🤣 i asked for a sweep yesterday and midwife said she’ll only give it to me at 41 weeks 😤 walking daily as we have a dog and a two year old…. Really cba for sex but may have to reconsider lol i hate the limbo/waiting game!!
@Monika yeah sex was a desperate measure haha. I have a two year old too and being overdue was getting uncomfortable 😖
My first was born in the car as I'm sure the midwives didn't believe me that my active labour was so short. It's a bit scary isn't it.
That’s the kind of experience I want. Labor at home and pop the baby out once I get to the hospital 😆
@Rupal with my first it was 12 hours long and with this one an hour. Both so so different lol! X
@Hannah very scary lol! Glad it wasn’t rush hour on the roads else we wouldn’t have made it x

@Nikki that’s ok! I had two babies , one at home (dad caught the baby b4 midwife got there) and one was induced with no pain medication. I just hate being in the hospital

I could have written this myself! Just about made it to the hospital, got to triage at 21:56 and he was here at 22:11! My contractions only really picked up consistently at 9pm, before that they were on and off from 6ish and bearable. I only put my toddler to bed around 2030! Crazy!
