I’m in the same boat! My little girl was just turning 1 when I found out. I’m now 11 weeks and she’s 13 months old. To be honest whilst it was planned I have found it really hard to get my head around - my little girl is still SO young & needy and not sleeping that well to be honest. I’ve had moments of doubt and it’s utterly exhausting dealing with morning sickness, fatigue etc whilst taking care of a toddler. I just keep reminding myself it will be worth it and this is just a short period and I’ll get through it one way or another. I’ve been going to bed shortly after putting my girls (6 and 1) to bed & that has been helping. Can you take any opportunity available to rest? Sending solidarity! Xxx
My boy was 3/ months when i found out i was pregnant and i was really ill at the beginning of my pregnancy and the first trimester i dod find hard i just had to make sure baby was always in a safe place of i had to run to the toilet and i would sleep when baby sleeps but the 2nd trimester it gets easier its the 3rd when you get really tired it can be difficult but it doesnt last forever thats what you hve to tell yourself! If you got someone around partner/ family who can give you a hand on your bad days that also helps but congratulations stay strong and your babies will have the best bond! Theres so much to look forward too even if you do feel at your worst right now! 🤞🏼
My daughter is nearly 19 months I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant and have been struggling totally different experience to the first pregnancy x
Thanks girls! Yes it’s so exhausting! When I was pregnant with my first I could sleep when I wanted and just rest but finding it really difficult having to run around after a baby😅 my husband is such a great support he just works a lot so other than the weekend, I do it all on my own as family live away so some days can be really tough! X
Yes and I can assure you having the baby is easier than the pregnancy exhaustion ❤️ I would nap when my little boy napped when pregnant x
Found out when my baby was 7-8 months the fatigue goes away soon dont worry
Our girl is nearly one too and I found the first trimester horrific but now I’m 13 weeks it’s calmed down a lot, just the tiredness but I don’t know how much of that is just mum life! Hope you feel better soon
I’m 7 months pregnant with an 11 month old and a 7 year old who’s autistic so I’m totally ruined most days🤦♀️xx
Mine are 14 months apart & I also found pregnancy second time round exhausting especially as eldest wasn’t fully sleeping through the night when baby arrived so multiple wake ups but my body needing that rest x
I have a 13 month old and I'm five months pregnant. It's exhausting most days, I've really struggled 😞
