Period pains

I am 37 weeks and have been having period like pains on and off for the last 3 days in my back and stomach. With the urge to go to the toilet but don’t need to go. The pressure is intense but then will just stop again. Has anyone else had this?

@Kate never had this with my first don’t know what to do. It comes on really strong for a few hours then goes again

@Emma I'm the same and never had this with my first. I'm wondering if its just constipation 😂

Also same, wasn’t like this my first and I went to 42 and half weeks - won’t make it that this time!

I’m 37 weeks and I’ve been having them on and off since last Friday when they were almost on for the whole day and I called the hospital and they asked to come in and apparently they are mild but regular contractions which I was shocked about. They send me home because I wasn’t in active labour. My obstetrician told me to come back if I have this period like pains constantly for more than 12 hours. So I’ve been having them since then but not for 12 hours straight. They did tell me that labour can start at any point so now I’m waiting. Hopefully I’ll go into labour soon
