@Sum thank you x
Personally, if I was concerned about a pain I'd be going no matter what my plans were the next day.
@Cheryl yeah. X
I called my triage and they said I should just talk to my GP tomorrow
I was meant to have my gallbladder removed the week I found out I was pregnant. I have tons of gallstones, enlarged bile ducts and chronic gallbladder inflammation. I was told if I’m in severe pain and especially with vomiting, pale stools or any jaundice then it’s straight to a&e, otherwise pain is expected and of itself not a worry. Basically gallbladder attacks hurt, it’s fine that they hurt, as long as it’s not severe pain or with other symptoms as that can indicate a blockage and then that’s an emergency situation. For me I have pain almost daily, but if I limit fatty food and red meat it’s not as bad. If the pain is bearable I’d see your GP, if it’s really painful or there’s other symptoms or even if you’re just really worried go to a&e and call in sick. Your health is always more important than work.
I think you should ask yourself if you would regret turning up to your 10 hour shift and not going to triage if your pain worsens or something is wrong with the baby... Hope that helps and everything's OK with baby and the pains 🙏🏻 x
