Cyclizine

Hi, I’m suffering with real bad morning sickness so have been prescribed cyclizine - has anyone taken these and what was your times for taking them please? It says 3 times a day, 8 hours apart so if I take the first at 7am, second at 3pm I can’t take the third until 11pm but I’m never still awake by then! First trimester tiredness I’m in bed by 9pm but I wake in the morning feeling so sick - will it matter if I take the third a bit earlier? What did everyone else do?

I was given these, but was that desperate to stop being sick I just took them as I needed them. Every time the nausea came back I took them. Still sticking to the 3 times a day though x

I took these and they worked well, I had HG so was really bad. I would take one first thing in the morning and then in the afternoon and just have them at the side of the bed and take another if I woke up nauseous. You don't have to take them three times a day but you can take up to three a day if that makes more sense. Xx

I'd just take the third as you are getting into bed, I never really timed them. They only worked for maybe a week though for me then I needed something stronger but everyone's different hopefully they will do the job xxx

Just do 7am-2pm-8/9pm. That will be fine.

I'm 29 weeks pregnant and still struggle with Hyperemesis. I'm on four different medication which includes Cyclizine. I usually take Cyclizine when I wake up with another pill and after 4 hours switch to a different medication and after another 4 hours Cyclizine is due again. If your nausea and sickness isn't calming down with just Cyclizine, I'd recommend speaking to your GP about it or get admitted to G1 ward if your in early pregnancy or Jessops and speak to them about other options xx
