Is it normal to ‘ want ‘ another baby already?

I am 5 months postpartum and love my baby so much! I feel he’s growing so fast. Lately I’ve noticed that the past two cycles I get sad when my period come because I’m not trying to get pregnant but I’m not on birth control or anything. We do the pull out method always. I feel like I might want another baby already. Am I crazy? Is this what I want or do I just miss the newborn days even though it was hard. It’s so soon for another baby and my baby is still so young but I often find myself fantasizing about getting a positive pregnancy test and get butterflies in my stomach! I don’t wanna tell anyone this because I know people will judge, so I came here.❤️❤️

It is normal. I've been wanting a other since I realized mine is not a newborn anymore (3 month mark ish) lol it goes by too fast!!! I used to want 2 and now I want 3 even though it is the hardest thing I've ever done 😭 I think it may be hormones

I want my second baby already too, 5 months pp as well. I have always wanted 2 and I want them close in age so they grow up together but my OB recommended I wait a year before getting pregnant again because my c section scar needs to heal to reduce chance of complications. I feel so impatient and want to try for baby #2 already, I want my two babies so baddddd

I’ve thought about getting pregnant again too! but I did get pregnant with my June 2024 baby at 14 months pp and it was very tough on my body I promised myself if I got pregnant again I would wait longer to fully heal.

Nope. Lol I thought i wanted 2 or 3 kids. But I don't think i could handle it. My baby is a good baby and I already find myself flustered especially with night wakes. I EBF and she wakes up about every 2.5 hours at night. I just want my sleep back.

I keep telling myself that wanting and having are two different things... this how I calm my mind

Definitely not I was like this with my first and my daughter is 19 months younger than my son so I have 2 under 2. My baby fever hasn’t hit yet but I know when it does I’m in trouble.

@Alexandra it’s recommended but you surgically heal from a big scar like that in 2 months PP
