Anyone thought about contraception yet?

I’ve never been on contraception before (just tracked ovulation) but I’ve got two kids and know we definitely don’t want more for a good few years. Anyone can share their experience with different kinds of contraception?

I was on the pill before and planning on going back to it after talking with my GP (not in a rush since I'm not in a rush to have sex either LOL) After the initial adjustment and finding the right pill/working out the break in between packs, it's worked great for me. I have no problem remembering to take it every morning, and I actually like the feeling of being in control with it (taking something every day vs an implant or injections), but it's not ideal if you're the kind of person that would forget! I still get periods, but very light and bang on the day every time, it was great being able to organise wedding and honeymoon knowing 100% I would not be on my period 😂

I was asked this but hadn’t given it a second thought as our Velcro baby is enough contraception at the moment 🤣 I have had the hormone and copper coil. Much prefer the hormone and the hormone is localised to that area. I liked it and it’s what I’ll use if I need to go back on something 😊

I use the depo injection as I don’t get periods when I’m on it. Lasts 3 months, I’ve had no side effects in the past so will go back on that at 6 weeks PP. The injection goes at the top of the bottom. Doesn’t hurt but can feel a bit tender for a few hours after.
