Too much movement?

I’m 29w6d and this baby is trying to break out of my stomach. At my last midwife apt, my midwife said reduced AND increased movements are an indication of distress and should be checked. As a first time mum, how am I supposed to know what too much movement is? Baby moves throughout the day and night with strong movements and turns, to the point where I can now tell the position he is lying in. Do I need to be concerned right now or when do I need to be concerned, if I do?!

I'd just ring your community midwife to ask them for reassurance. No call is a wasted call 🥰

I'm 28 weeks and started noticing baby move a lot more, lots of wriggling, noticeably more than last few weeks and stronger. My understanding is that increased movement is normal it's only if there is sudden increased movement as a one off that is out of character for your baby, that could be a sign of distress. If your baby is consistently moving more then I think that's just normal at this stage.

That’s what I thought this has become the normal as it’s been like this since 25 weeks. Maybe I’m just feeling it more as he’s growing

At 34 weeks my boy would not stop whatsoever, it was like he was having convulsions. Now that I had him even at 10 weeks he is squirmy as anything lol but it’s always good to call for your own peace of mind

I remember feeling like that around 28 weeks and midwife told me they are getting stronger and have lots of space to move now x

My baby boy felt like he was going to climb out of my stomach. Hes two weeks old and from the moment he was born he is a wriggler and extremely strong! Any concerns best to get them checked!
