Periods postpartrum

When did yous get your periods after birth as im over 2 months since giving birth but had all the bleeding ect that stopped in early October but I’ve not had a period yet ? I’m 12 weeks pp not sure if I had it yet x

I got mine now which is 6/7 weeks after giving birth. VERY heavy too. are you on any contraception yet? x

Yes, breast feeding affects your periods. I didn’t manage to breast feed but was pumping until 9 weeks postpartum and then my milk supply dried out. I got my first period about 2 weeks after and they have been regular and strong since

I gave birth in June I stopped bleeding 3 weeks after birth and I’ve still not had my period. Doctor said that it’s normal and everybody is different xx
