Parents Arguing😩

Me and hubby had the most senseless argument in front of our toddler this morning, our voices were a little bit raised and my toddler said “stop it” this instantly brought the argument to an end. We looked at ourselves realising how badly we messed up. We both apologised to her and ourselves, hug and kissed in front of her so she knows we’re ok. Plan cont. the conversation with hubby at a different time. As you can imagine I have had a knot in my stomach all day, how did we become this parents. This is the first time conversations got heated in front of her can’t believe we let this happen! So my question is has anyone been in a similar situation? Will my toddler remember this😭? How do you handle conflicts with your partner to avoid it getting escalated? Feel like we’re horrible parents for letting this happen!

I understand how you feel :( it happened to me and my husband :( but they will Not remember…I cry when happens sometimes :( I think every relationship goes through this because everyday life it’s difficult with kids and doing everything the same every single day it’s stressful too and it’s normal to feel stressful …

I ve been there about 2 weeks ago. My baby is 13 months and no verbal bit we could see his scared face and we got so sad... You are not perfect and that's ok to show that argument is part of life. What matters is how you argument and how you fix it.

My mom and dad keep saying this story of how one time when I was 4 they started fighting so bad they were both throwing on the ground plates and smashing them. And apparently I ran and hid at the neighbours place. I don’t remember a thing! Was the only time they had a fight in front of me

We’re all humans! Sometimes it’s tough and we have no patience left in the tank!
