Pain relief
For those who have given birth before/already this month - at which stage of dilation did you start needing pain relief and what did you use?
Would be really helpful to know if people are happy to share :)

In first I used gas and air from 4cm but was given pethidine beforehand (though didn’t help) and this second birth I used gas and air from 4cm with no other pain relief Both I used tens machines throughout though
First baby I needed it at 4cmish 2nd baby it all happened so fast I only had gas and air at 10cm 😭

This time around it was only about 3cm I needed gas and air. Last time I didn't need it til around 6-7cm. Honestly each person and each labour is different. Listen to your body if you need it take it don't try and be brave you generally have options of Gas and air Pethidine Epidural
