Baby wearing after C-section

I had my second C-section last week Thursday and feel like I'm recovering pretty well this time around. I can do most every day activities without pain, except obviously for lifting and twisting my abs. I have a two year old and would like to start baby wearing but I was wondering whether it is too early? I've seen the advice online is quite contrasting so I'd love to hear when did other people started and how you managed. Thanks!

I had mine on the 28th and baby wore for a few hours today and I’m definitely feeling it now

I baby wore my daughter for the first time at 7 weeks post section and it was only for a 20 minute walk to school and back. I was a bit sore afterwards but nothing major x

Try different styles of carriers and positions. I found with my first that since carriers put more pressure on my abdomen than others. We had the honey roo for example and I just couldn't wear it. Too uncomfortable. Something like the ring sling might do better. (Scheduled for a C-section December 6th so also following)

I wore my baby 2 and a half weeks after he was born and it was sore afterward. Try for a short time around house and see how it feels. You know your own body best and its limits. But I’d aim for a short time initially and build it up x

Thanks ladies, it was super helpful. I saw some websites say 2 weeks, but it feels way too early! I will wait a bit longer and start trying for 10/15 minutes then first time. I have both a sling and an ergo baby carrier so I will try both and see which one works better 😊

I baby wore around 3/4 week's after my 1st and 2nd section, both was just around the home to see how it was, I did feel it but it got easier and I was able to go out just took it easy as possible, both my kids was biiig babies too 😂
