@Audrey thank you, you’re absolutely right. I nursed her for comfort. I wouldn’t have let her sleep after either but she was already awake for five hours and soo cranky. She fell on the carpet but our bed is soo high up it definitely worried me. She landed on a small pile of clothes so that definitely helps but still sooo scary.
Absolutely so terrifying and makes u want to hug them so tight but obviously can’t it’s heartbreaking when u just wanna protect them but it will be okay promise just from now on you can be more cautious babies are such suicidal little villains lolll it’s best to take every precaution needed for them 😂 it will be okay give extra hugs and food as an apology and it will be okay lol🤍🤍🤍🤍‼️

It is the worst feeling but I can assure you it should be ok. My baby rolled and fell off the bed when she was 1 month or so and I called everyone!! Dr. Said it happens to everyone and it's ok, babies are way more resilient and strong than we think

Our did the same! Definitely recommend taking baby in to get checked out. Our pediatrician said that the concern with littles is brain swelling/bleeding. It’s rare but it happens. I needed the peace of mind so we took him to get checked out!
@Olivia Anderson what did they do at the hospital?
@Ozlem We went to urgent care and they assessed the potential for serious injury through a score according to different factors like bed height, flooring type, how baby landed and reacted after. They also checked his behaviors and eyes, ears, head (swelling shows at soft spot and behind ears). Because we took him immediately after the incident, they ultimately asked us to hang around for an additional hour and the doctor kept coming to check on him for any changes. He scored pretty low on risk so they didn’t recommend a CT scan of his head at the time (but technically that’s the only way to know if there’s bleeding). We monitored him for 48hrs and our pediatrician called to follow up. No CT scan needed and our little guy was fine!
My little girl fell off the bed last week she cried of coarse was a little traumatic for her and she was scared ,as i was getting her dressed to go into the drs office she was back to her regular self playing . Called the dr she said just monitor her of no changes in behavior or nothing swollen bruised or red she is all good.
If your baby falls don’t let them sleep for an hour watch them exc if there’s any signs of distress especially if it was hard floor take her in immediately. Other than that babies are very strong my baby has fallen off our couch I fell off the bed dozens of times as a baby and 80% of babies have fallen from somewhere it’s okay it broke me when my baby fell the first time but it’s okay honestly I do feel sometimes guilty but our babies will be okay and not even remember it till they tell the story like I am today that I fell off before and it’s okay
