@Myah how long did you notice the cramps and backache for before you knew it was definitely contractions?
I had a membrane sweep the morning I went into labour so I was very much in denial thinking the pain would soon go away. It was a constant ache that grew into constant pain starting in the front, moving to my back then back to the front where it stayed. It wasn’t until about 4 hours later I started to feel/notice the tightening of what I assumed contractions would be like.
@Trish thank you for sharing! I’m having like a constant dull backache that every now and again gets worse (like pains when you need to 💩)
Sounds promising! 🤞 it’s your turn to have bubs
I knew after 2-3 contractions that I was definitely in labour. By the sounds of what you’re feeling, it could definitely be possible that you’re in labour! Good luck, I’m excited for you!!
First felt like period pains but I knew I was in labour just felt different , and all in my back too , squeezing pain
I had a back ache for around a week with period like pains. Then one morning I woke up to a sharp pain in my stomach, stood up and my waters gushed, got intense contractions and my boy was born 2 hrs later x
I had a sore sort of muscle ache come on suddenly in my lower back the day I went into labour
@Maria thank you for sharing… how soon after getting the muscle pain did things start to progress?
I can't remember exactly but maybe around 3pm ISH and then my waters broke at 8pm and I had my son at 5:17 the next morning
How are you going, Incog?
@Trish still pregnant! I went to triage & they monitored contractions on the monitor but it’s just very slow labour at the moment… nothing is progressing & so I’m just trying to distract myself & take paracetamol when the cramps come!
How long do you have until your DD? 🤞 things start progressing for you
Mine felt like a period cramp along with a backache when I first started feeling them. I knew instantly I was having contractions
