Depo is known for weight gain. The iud is less

Hey babe have you thought about the pill instead ?

@Felicity I tried it before getting pregnant and I had too many side effects + it’s way too hard to remember 😔

@Kamree that’s understandable, just pls be careful with the IUD because a couple of women close to me actually had to have surgery due to complications & the depo shot is actually linked to law suits & recalls because of the negative affects on women’s body long term

@Felicity OMG! yea i think i’ll stick with the IUD . Ive heard too much and depo now 😭

I never liked messing with my hormones, I had a copper iud and it was magic, the procedure was so easy took like 3 minutes x

If you had issues with the pill I wouldn’t do the shot either. IUD has less hormones and is more localized while the shot spreads throughout body. The copper iud has no hormones but can increase cramping and blood flow

Why not try the insert ? The pills messed with my hormones too and now I have nexplanon and I feel fine. I was scared at first that would mess with my hormones but it didn’t

I have the iud and haven’t had any side effects whatsoever! It hurts going in but it’s effective and worth it!
