Hasn't pooped

My 11 month old hasn't pooped in 3 (almost 4) days (very unlike him he poops at least once a day) and I know every baby is different, but I'm concerned! I went to a dr and they said breastfed babies can go a week without pooping and to come back in a week - but I don't want to leave if that long? My son has a hard tummy, is passing smelly gas, super irritable, and he's usually super happy! I've heard of Windy but I'm able to access it where I live, it needs to be shipped and can take a week! What can I do? Please help and thank you!

When my LO was like this we gave him some gripe water and he pooped within an hour and his stomach completely deflated x

Amazing I'll grab some tomorrow thanks so much!! ❤️

Gripe water can help an uneasy tummy. Also, apple, pears and prunes help a baby poop. I've given my girl a gerber that's apple with prunes and within an hour I got a DIRTY diaper lol Good luck!!!

Pureed prunes work a treat (just pre soak for 30 mins then puree with the water)

Prune pouch defo, most supermarkets sell them xx

My go to is Mylicon and he pooped within an hour and let out his trapped gasses !! ❤️🫶🏼

Thank you so much everyone ❤️❤️

Bananas helps my baby poop every time.

Prunes, most fruit, lots of water, weetabix really helps my lo! My girl is 8 months and she goes through stages of going a week I hate it and then bam she goes and it back to normal I know it’s really worrying and makes you feel so useless when you can’t help but I recommend going to your chemist/ pharmacy and they can usually give something to help them go over the counter! x

Chia seeds are great source of fiber too.

if it continues and their tummy is still hard after trying the basics like gas relief and prunes you can try infant suppositories or miralax as well! we went to the doctor for my 7 month old who is formula fed having the same issues. also make sure they’re getting plenty of liquids!!

I've tried brown sugar and water and it always helps my little one

If you can put him on a infant daily probiotic that helps a LOT

When my son has this problem I was told you give him a liquid glycerin suppository that was told by the doctors but there is an age restriction you have to be 3yr+ but I use it on my son because he gets back up really back

Thank you everyone - started off with a prune/pear pouch before giving gripe water and he pooped within an hour 🥰🙏🏼
