I had a sweep on Friday night and am due to be induced on Wednesday so I'm desperate to get it going naturally but he's just not budging 😭 any tips will be much appreciated!!
Yesterday I started having contractions for an hour then they went away. Today I’ve been walking up hills and I also did a 15 minute pregnancy inducing workout yesterday which helped as I feel like baby has descended more x I have also been taking raspberry leaf tea, I was eating dates and then I stopped, but I should probably get back on it ! 😅
I've been doing a workout off YouTube on my yoga ball but baby can't get any lower I don't think! I'm carrying extra water as well so can't believe they haven't gone yet! This is the worst, seeing everyone posting their babies as well 😭 prayers be with us all 🤣
@Amber omg I was told I had extra fluid around baby and I am surprised mine haven’t gone too 🙈 I have a consultant meeting with the doctor to see where things are at. Even though I don’t want to sweep, I’m considering it just to get things started 😫
I've got another sweep booked for tomorrow morning, I was 2cm on Friday so hoping a second one will do the trick I'll take a sweep over induction! The drip is awful 🥺 whens your consultant appointment?
@Amber it’s tomorrow! Did you get to 2cm natural or was that via sweep?
Also how did you find the sweep? Did you use any pain relief for it? X
I got to 2cm naturally, to my surprise 🙈 I didn't have any pain relief it was very much a "this'll only take a min" approach by the midwife lol, it was uncomfortable, slightly painful but I just focused on my breathing and it was over in less than 2 minutes x

@Amber update: baby is 1/5 engaged which is lovely to know … they’ll offer me a sweep at 40 if I get there but doctor said just stay active so things can get going! x
That's good news! Fingers crossed for you 🙏🏻 I'm still 2cm and baby moved his head away everytime the midwife tried to sweep him 🤣
