We are in the same situation! My eldest is 19m and my youngest is 9m and I have found so many presents for my eldest but for my 9m old she just plays with whatever my eldest had/has so I’ve found it hard. So far I’ve got her a few bluey figures, a small baby doll, a wooden music set, and a unicorn bubble blower. She’s too young to be into anything super specific so it’s difficult!
Same I have 3y son and 9m girl.. she’s going to get alot of thing that they can play together and cute girly things like dolls and a stroller etc ..
My wee one is 10 months I’ve bought her the 4-1 trike, a rocking horse and some little bits - stacking cups, the talking cactus toy on TikTok, and one of those pop up toys. My mum has got her one of those activity baby walkers and my sister is getting her a Busy books
I’ve only bought her a few things, she’s a baby she won’t know the difference and will just love the excitement of it all. I’ve bought her a drum as she loves to tap a rhythm, a shaker you can take apart and an activity table as we never had those for our older child. You could wrap up a wooden spoon and they’d be happy!
Ideas I’ve given to my family for my 9 month old (younger sister to a 2 year old) are; backpack for starting nursery, her own lunchbox, classic books that we don’t have yet, a teether, crayola palm-grasp egg crayons (she seems to be interested in colouring way earlier than my 2022 baby was - probably from watching), her own colouring book, more stuff for weaning eg silicone snack pots, her own water bottle (my eldest still using all hers), her own apron for messy play/painting. Other stuff she got when she was born they were didn’t want to re-use or my eldest would still be using are a comforter, hairbrush, towels, more bowls/meal time bibs etc Also for us just some random toys we didn’t have e.g. animal figures and nesting dolls
Same my oldest turned 2 last month and youngest was born 4th feb 🙈 I have got the baby barely anything as we have everything from our little girl and he’s a baby so doesn’t care that it’s pink 🤣
My youngest will be 10 months at Christmas and I've got him a crawl through tunnel as its one of the few things my eldest hasn't got, so hopefully they will both enjoy it.
We moved in between kids so there were a few bigger things I didn't buy when we didn't have the space. Or some things broke. So I bought those 🙈
