Just keep reminding yourself that baby is building their immune system like Shanice said. It's so hard! I've been back since July and I've had a grand total of maybe 3 weeks that I've been well, same for my daughter. It's bloody hard work, but this too shall pass. I was warned the first year after returning to work is hard, but you've got this!
Work is hard, but being a SAHM mum is probably harder. You'd be getting sick with these bugs eventually you're just getting them out of the way this winter. It is brutal though, like it never ends!
Thank you so much for your replies 🥰 this has been the hardest stage over the last year for me 🫣
Work is so hard. My LO doesn't go to nursery yet and still has been ill non stop since August so please don't feel guilty. Due to illness and teething and cluster breastfeeding, last week for the first time I was actually glad to be at work to have a little break from being latched onto 40 times a day. But other than that I'm sure being a working mum is harder!
And then there’s the mum guilt that baby wouldn’t be poorly if they didn’t go to nursery and catch everything under the sun. But you’re doing good Mumma 🩵 it’s fucking hard being a working mum! I went back in September too, I work 4 days a week. Your little one is building their immune system and soooo many skills at nursery. Hang in there Mumma 🩵
