Following as my little boy is same sometimes!
Definitely sounds like reflux. When they drink the acid comes back up and burns their throat so they pull away x
Mine does this when he has wind! Most of the time it sorts itself out when I stop and burp him/do bicycle legs x
My little boy was like this and we changed his formula to Cow & Gate Comfort and he's fine now, he still wriggles sometimes when he has wind but after a burp he's fine 😊
try colief, infacol is acidic so it can make reflux worse (sounds like silent reflux my baby ws the same) i think gripe water is too, also if theyre drinking enough milk in a day give an oz of cooled boiled water, with colief there’s some guidelines you have to follow so what I find easiest for me to make a big batch of milk at 9 am and 9 pm and store in the fridge and then warm when needed try that before switching milk as when you change milk, sometimes it can upset their tummy for a few weeks before getting better, also something my grandma recommended for my baby is fennel seeds boiled on the stove and then putting some of the water in the milk. I add it to the big batch of milk and sometimes if he’s having a bellyache, I’ll just give him half an ounce of the water i swear by it
Mine done this all the time! Would cry cos she wanted milk then would cry when she drank it and became all wriggly while feeding. She was diagnosed with reflux and prescribed gaviscon and she was so much better almost as soon as having it! She seems so much more comfortable and happy now
Colic! My baby is exactly the same. Have a look online at colic massages and do them with your baby every morning and night. It’s helped us massively. There’s nothing worse when your baby’s crying in pain with colic and you cannot help or stop it! The massage prevents the build up getting so bad to the point where they are screaming and won’t take the bottle/spitting milk out.
